As more and more households switch from natural gas to sustainable alternatives, the demand for removing gas connections is increasing significantly. However, finding the exact underground branch to a house connection can be a time-consuming task. With a big chance that you will spend hours digging in the wrong place.
That is why Dent IoT, in collaboration with IMBEMA, developed the Imbema Smart Pipe Mapper. This compact sensor moves through the gas pipeline to the branch and accurately maps the route. In this way, fitters can track exactly where the pipeline is located and where it branches off from the main pipeline.
